Job Title: General Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive the success of our Leisure and Entertainment business. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high performance of multiple venues and developing a strong talent pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer experience and retention
  • Manage and drive sales and revenue streams, including admissions, sales, marketing, and food & beverage
  • Ensure compliance with food and health & safety regulations
  • Manage and develop a team of professionals to achieve business objectives
  • Drive new business and exceed sales and revenue targets
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, peers, support teams, and senior management

Requirements:

  • Proven General Management experience in hospitality, leisure, or entertainment venues with high volume and performance standards
  • Energetic, resilient, and decisive leadership with sound judgment
  • High personal accountability and integrity with a passion for team coaching and development
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships
  • Commercial acumen and ability to manage and drive revenue streams
  • Determined to drive new business and exceed sales and revenue targets
  • Experience in driving sales and identifying strong ROI through local marketing campaigns
  • Strong understanding of food and health & safety regulations
  • Flexible leadership style to manage the varied demands of the role
  • Proficient in using a variety of systems, tools, and Microsoft packages
  • Innovative approach with an awareness of market trends and competition
