About the Role:

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Mental Health Support Worker to join their team in a special needs school based in Northumberland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEND/SEMH and be able to adapt to meet the individual needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with complex learning disabilities or SEMH needs
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior management plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure student progress
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in SEND/SEMH
  • Excellent behavior management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
