Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will work with students who have SEMH needs, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students with SEMH needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Assist students with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene
  • Support students in developing social skills and relationships
  • Monitor and report on student progress and behavior

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of child development and learning theories
  • DBS check and safeguarding training
