About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Energym. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications that prioritize eco-friendliness and user experience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to transform innovative ideas into reality, utilizing a range of programming languages and technologies.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in at least one leading app development platform and stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
  • Code Quality: Adhere to industry best practices in coding and design, ensuring the tech stack remains efficient and agile.
  • Innovation: Drive innovation in software development, focusing on user health and environmental impact.
  • UI/UX Integration: Collaborate with UI/UX designers to enhance interface aesthetics and functionality.
  • Code Maintenance: Write robust, maintainable, and testable code that is scalable and sustainable.
  • Debugging and Problem-Solving: Engage in diligent debugging and problem-solving to maintain resilient technology.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance for a responsive user experience, suitable for high-intensity workouts.
  • Code Review: Participate actively in code reviews to improve app performance and maintainability.
Requirements
  • Portfolio: Possess a solid portfolio featuring a degree in Computer Science or related fields, with proven experience.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Have knowledge and experience of industry best practices.
  • Programming Languages: Possess skills in at least one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Dart, Kotlin, or Swift.
  • App Development Platforms: Have experience with at least one of the following app development platforms: Capacitorjs, Flutter, Ionic, or React Native.
  • Responsive Design: Experience implementing responsive and beautiful mobile interfaces.
  • Launch Experience: Proven success in launching Android and iOS applications that have customers racing back for more.
  • Wearable and IoT Experience: Experience interfacing with wearables and IoT devices, taking the digital leap into physical fitness.
  • Agile Methodology: Be an Agile enthusiast who can sprint, hurdle, and pivot with the best.
