Job Opportunity for a Property Manager
Magnus James, a specialist recruiter for the property industry, is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in lettings and property management, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage scheduled repairs and reactive maintenance, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to tenants.
- Organize mid-term inspections, check-outs, and inventories, working closely with internal clerks and management teams.
- Coordinate with contractors, obtain quotations, issue work orders, and process invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure property compliance, including EICR's, gas safety, and EPC certifications, to maintain high standards of property management.
- Handle deposit disputes and other tenant-related issues, providing excellent customer service and resolving conflicts efficiently.
- Prepare and manage tenancy paperwork, including serving section notices as required.
- Support landlords with rental reviews and tenancy renewals, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Perform general Property Manager duties, including administrative tasks and reporting.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in lettings and property management, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and other relevant software, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
