Administrative Support Officer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Administrative Support Officer to join our team at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Serennu Children's Centre, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and liaising with the general public, staff, and other professionals within the Health Board.
Responsibilities will include carrying out general clerical duties, such as filing correspondence and sending out signed letters and reports in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
They will also be responsible for maintaining and developing databases and systems to support the smooth running of the children's centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for the Serennu Children's Centre
- Carry out general clerical duties, including filing correspondence and sending out signed letters and reports
- Maintain and develop databases and systems to support the smooth running of the children's centre
- Provide administrative support to the team
Requirements
- Good general education to GCSE level
- IT skills and experience of office software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
