Emotional Well-being Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic professional to join our team as an Intervention Practitioner. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children.
The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to develop and implement strategies that promote student well-being and achievement. This will involve delivering targeted interventions, providing one-to-one support, and contributing to the school's safeguarding procedures.
We are looking for an individual who is creative, innovative, and able to think outside the box. If you have a passion for working with children and young people, particularly those with SEMH needs, then we would like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- To develop and deliver tailored interventions that meet the unique needs of each student
- To provide one-to-one support and guidance to students, promoting their emotional well-being and social development
- To contribute to the school's safeguarding procedures, ensuring the safety and welfare of all students
- To work collaboratively with teachers, other support staff, and external agencies to ensure effective student support
Requirements:
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., education, psychology, social work)
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and commitment to ongoing professional development
- Thrive Approach or Trauma-Informed training
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Salary: £27,802 - £31,740 per annum (dependent on experience)
