Concrete Production Supervisor

Role Overview:
As a Plant Supervisor, you will collaborate with team members to produce concrete in a safe and efficient environment, ensuring exceptional customer service is consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with the Order Office, plant personnel, and clients to guarantee that concrete and mortar production aligns with customer specifications, achieving optimal output and quality in line with established procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure adherence to routine maintenance schedules, maintaining cleanliness across the plant, yard, and associated facilities.
- Oversee waste disposal, water discharge, and dust emission processes in compliance with environmental regulations.
- Ensure the availability of sufficient materials to meet production demands and perform weekly visual stock checks of incoming materials.
- Enforce safety protocols for all employees, contractors, and visitors within the plant.
- Continuously evaluate work methods and plant utilization to maximize efficiency and resource use.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety legislation, including the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, and comply with company safety policies.
- Participate in training programs to enhance job performance and stay updated on industry practices.
- Execute additional tasks as directed by management to support operational needs.
- Operate the batching plant and front-end loader (FEL) according to company standards while maintaining site presentation.
- Ensure accurate batching of concrete and mortar following relevant procedures once trained.
- Conduct daily stock checks and monthly verifications with the plant supervisor.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections, documenting any defects or issues that may impact health, safety, or product quality.
- Familiarize yourself with and comply with company policies regarding health, safety, environmental standards, quality control, and fraud prevention.
Qualifications:
Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
