Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Learning and Development Manager to join our team in Sheffield. As the first point of contact for learning and development queries at site level, you will be responsible for ensuring all training activities are carried out in an efficient and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and champion the site-wide L&D strategy
  • Ensure regulatory training is delivered and maintained, covering areas such as Health & Safety, regulatory compliance, food safety, and customer/retailer requirements
  • Develop and deliver structured L&D programmes and competency-based frameworks for colleagues at all levels
  • Continuously look for new and improved ways of training, exploring new methodologies and methods of delivery
  • Ensure training records and systems are accurate, updated, and maintained
  • Manage the site L&D training budget

Requirements:

  • Prior experience of delivering against L&D strategy and initiatives, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to develop and deliver operational training frameworks as well as less structured learning & development activities
  • Level 4 Food Safety, with the ability to deliver Level 3 (training can be provided)
  • Level 4 HACCP, with the ability to deliver Level 3 (training can be provided)
  • IOSH (training can be provided)
