The Learning and Development Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership in the field of learning and development within the FMCG industry. They will be responsible for the overall management of Learning & Development across the site.

Based in Sheffield, the company prides itself on fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Key Responsibilities
Be the first point of contact for learning and development queries at site level and be responsible for ensuring all training activities are carried out in an efficient and effective manner.
- Successfully implement and champion the site-wide L&D strategy.
- Ensure regulatory training is delivered and maintained (covering areas such as Health & Safety, regulatory compliance, food safety, customer/retailer requirements) ensuring that we are always audit ready.
- Ensuring all L&D activities result in the ongoing development of our people, helping to build high performing teams, increase staff engagement, and improve retention.
- Deliver structured L&D programmes and competency-based frameworks for colleagues at all levels, ensuring they are provided with the technical and behavioural/soft-skills required to help them improve and open up future career opportunities.
- Continue looking for new, improved ways of training, exploring new methodology and methods of delivery.
- Ensuring that training records and systems are accurate, updated and maintained.
- Responsibility for the site L&D training budget.
Requirements
* Prior experience of delivering against L&D strategy and initiatives, preferably in a manufacturing environment (although we welcome applications from all backgrounds).
* Able to develop and deliver operational training frameworks as well as less structured learning & development activities.
* Level 4 Food Safety, with the ability to deliver Level 3 (training can be provided).
* Level 4 HACCP, with the ability to deliver Level 3 (training can be provided).
* IOSH (training can be provided).
