Manufacturing Engineer Opportunity

Science Solutions Recruitment is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our client's team. A global materials and chemicals manufacturer based in the Derbyshire area, our client is looking for a professional with a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years of industrial experience in a similar position. Previous experience in the manufacturing of carbon fibre materials is highly desirable. Additionally, you should possess project management skills and be able to act as a subject matter expert for at-line training.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for managing your own projects, working on others, and actively resolving operational difficulties. You will also provide technical problem-solving capability to decrease the production of faulty materials and debottleneck production to increase run rates and overall production output.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects and work on others simultaneously
  • Act as a subject matter expert for at-line training
  • Resolve operational difficulties and provide technical problem-solving capability
  • Debottleneck production to increase run rates and overall production output

Requirements:

  • Minimum degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of industrial experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in manufacturing of carbon fibre materials (desirable)
  • Project management skills and experience
