Based in Sheffield, the company prides itself on fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for learning and development queries at site level and be responsible for ensuring all training activities are carried out in an efficient and effective manner.
* Successfully implement and champion the site-wide L&D strategy.
* Ensure regulatory training is delivered and maintained (covering areas such as Health & Safety, regulatory compliance, food safety, customer/retailer requirements) ensuring that we are always audit ready.
* Ensuring all L&D activities result in the ongoing development of our people, helping to build high performing teams, increase staff engagement, and improve retention.
* Deliver structured L&D programmes and competency-based frameworks for colleagues at all levels, ensuring they are provided with the technical and behavioural/soft-skills required to help them improve and open up future career opportunities.
* Continue looking for new, improved ways of training, exploring new methodology and methods of delivery.
* Ensuring that training records and systems are accurate, updated and maintained.
* Responsibility for the site L&D training budget.
Requirements
* Prior experience of delivering against L&D strategy and initiatives, preferably in a manufacturing environment (although we welcome applications from all backgrounds).
* Able to develop and deliver operational training frameworks as well as less structured learning & development activities.
* Level 4 Food Safety, with the ability to deliver Level 3 (training can be provided).
* Level 4 HACCP, with the ability to deliver Level 3 (training can be provided).
* IOSH (training can be provided).
