London, Greater London, United Kingdom Richmond Hill Hotel Full time

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Meeting and Events Coordinator to join our team at Richmond Hill Hotel. Located in the heart of London's greenest borough, we are an independently owned Georgian hotel, just a stone's throw from the royal park. Our team are the heart and soul of everything we do at the hotel, and their hard work and dedication have earned us recognition from prestigious organizations such as The Sunday Times and The Caterer for being one of the leading employers in the industry.

As a Senior Meeting and Events Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in liaising with potential and existing clients, the Restaurant, Bar and Events Operations Manager, Chefs, and Sales team. From the initial enquiry stage through to post-event follow-up, your goal will be to ensure optimal revenue generation and maximum client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage enquiries and bookings through the Meeting and Events database, ensuring timely updates and follow-ups for all live enquiries, existing clients, and potential new business.
  • Innovate and propose new ideas to enhance standards and service within the Meeting and Events department, reporting directly to the Meeting and Events Office Manager.
  • Conduct detailed show rounds for clients, addressing queries promptly and professionally, and ensuring seamless event execution.
  • Oversee the preparation of weekly function sheets, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in event details.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to coordinate event logistics, including catering, audio-visual requirements, and room setup.
  • Uphold high standards of guest service and resolve any issues or concerns during events to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

What we're looking for...

  • A hunger for hospitality and going the extra mile.
  • Someone that is willing to bring their best, authentic self to work. Rather than reading from a script or putting on a persona, our approach is all about bringing the very best version of ourselves to work every day.
  • A creative approach to your role - we believe that a game-changing idea can come from anyone, anytime.
  • Someone who thrives in a dynamic and vibrant environment and is committed to delivering exceptional hospitality.

If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for hospitality, we would love to hear from you. Please note that all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
