The meetings group collaborates closely with senior leaders, functional and regional event teams, and individual meeting planners to enhance overall event experience, create efficiencies, and minimize risk for all meeting formats (in-person, virtual, and hybrid).
You will work closely with senior stakeholders and event leads, serving as a trusted partner in designing and enhancing the plenary room experience at our internal conferences. Beyond the plenary, you'll partner with internal teams and lead vendors to create engaging conference spaces, including thought partnership on networking areas, effective wayfinding, and building an engaging attendee experience. Your ability to build strong relationships and provide expert guidance will be essential in influencing decisions and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
As the Production Senior Coordinator, you will manage and maintain a global network of production vendors, acting as a liaison between internal customers and external partners. You will review statements of work, offer expert advice on space and scenic design, and oversee the build of run-of-shows, as well as other production-related activities as a subject matter expert for our customers. Events will range from virtual and hybrid to regional and global in-person formats, requiring you to combine creativity, technical expertise, and strategic oversight for flawless event execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders and event leads.
- Collaborate with internal teams and lead vendors to create engaging conference spaces, including networking areas, wayfinding, and attendee experience.
- Manage and maintain a global network of production vendors, acting as a liaison between internal customers and external partners.
- Review statements of work, offer expert advice on space and scenic design, and oversee the build of run-of-shows and other production-related activities.
- Combine creativity, technical expertise, and strategic oversight to ensure flawless event execution for virtual, hybrid, regional, and global in-person events.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Theater, Hospitality, Design, or a related field.
- 4+ years of related experience in production planning.
- Highly responsive customer service orientation and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong technical understanding and knowledge of the meetings and events industry, including show development, design thinking, writing, stagecraft, production technology, media production, and more.
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities, with a strong attention to detail and flexibility.
