Maintenance Safety Operations Manager

AWE Plc is seeking a skilled Maintenance Safety Operations Manager to provide oversight of maintenance engineering safety. This role requires strong maintenance background and experience in demonstrating compliance with regulations, including SFG20, CIBSE Guide M, ISO 55000, and design standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, managing, and assessing standards of competence for maintenance engineering safety, reviewing suitability of maintenance scope and service for compliance with regulations, and advising on the safe and effective implementation of engineering safety. They will also provide technical support in resolving complex issues and contribute to the development of AWE's engineering safety policies.
This role offers a competitive salary of £47,690 - £75,370, depending on suitability, qualifications, and experience. To succeed in this role, you will require good understanding of SFG20, CIBSE Guide M, ISO 55000, and design standards, strong root cause analysis and Failure Mode Effects (Criticality) Analysis experience, HNC/HND or equivalent suitable experience, demonstrable knowledge and experience of maintaining infrastructure, plant, equipment, and systems, familiarity with maintenance strategy development during design, ability to deliver maintenance engineering advice and guidance, experience of identifying, managing, and reporting on engineering safety risks, and previous experience of leading the delivery of engineering services.
