Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our academic team at Manchester Metropolitan University. As a Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Learning: Deliver lectures, tutorials, and workshops to students on mental health nursing programs.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Develop and mark assessments, provide feedback to students, and contribute to the development of curriculum materials.
  • Student Support: Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to students throughout their academic journey.
  • Programme Leadership: Contribute to the leadership and development of mental health nursing programs, including module and program design.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Nursing Qualifications: Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Teaching Experience: Evidence of teaching or facilitation within clinical or educational environments.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead modules and programs, as well as contribute to the wider nursing team.
