About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our academic team at Manchester Metropolitan University. As a Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Quality Teaching: Teach and support students in their academic and professional journey, delivering lectures, tutorials, and workshops on mental health nursing programs.
  • Lead Modules and Programs: Contribute to the leadership and development of mental health nursing programs, including module and program design.
  • Undertake Assessments and Feedback: Develop and mark assessments, provide feedback to students, and contribute to the development of curriculum materials.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Nursing Qualifications: Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Teaching Experience: Evidence of teaching or facilitation within clinical or educational environments.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead modules and programs, as well as contribute to the wider nursing team.
