About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide world-class customer service, creating a friendly and welcoming experience for customers through personalized service during the rental and return process.
  • Sales: Utilize outstanding selling skills to meet customer needs and identify opportunities to increase revenue, meeting daily, weekly, monthly, and annual targets.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve a wide range of customer issues through the rental journey, leveraging Hertz's proven customer service tools and methods, and involving management as needed.
  • Teamwork: Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet quality, service, and performance goals, supporting colleagues across all roles to create a seamless customer experience.
  • Control and Audit: Adhere to company SOPs for valeting, delivery, and collection provisions, ensuring the location is fully compliant with GDPR regulations. Ensure rentable standards are met, and any additional damage is documented on return.
  • Continuous Improvement: Encourage and maintain a 'best practice sharing culture,' striving to find ways to improve service and change mindsets.

Requirements
  • Valid Driving License: Possess a valid UK or EU driving license.
  • Enthusiastic Attitude: Demonstrate an enthusiastic, flexible, and positive attitude towards selling.
  • Customer Service Experience: Have previous experience in customer service, sales, or retail environments.
  • Good Communication Skills: Possess good English skills, enabling effective communication with customers.
  • Flexibility: Be willing to work on a shift rota basis, 7 days a week, and be flexible with your schedule.
