About the Role

We are recruiting for a skilled practitioner to work in our Coventry-based domestic abuse refuge. This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week, and offers a competitive salary of £12,012.27 per annum (£22,523 per annum FTE).

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct support and assistance to women and children experiencing domestic abuse. They will work collaboratively with the Senior Services Manager to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

A key aspect of this role is to identify and develop support strategies to meet the needs of women and children affected by domestic abuse in all forms. This may involve working with external agencies and organizations to provide a range of services and support.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Good general level of education.
  • Knowledge of domestic abuse issues and the statutory framework.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to speak at least one of the following languages (desirable): Urdu, Hindi, Mirpuri, Punjabi, Gujrati, or Bengali.
