Senior Practitioner in Children's Services

Coventry City Council is seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Help and Protection teams on a 6-month fixed term / secondment basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing and delivering effective services for children, young people, and their families.
Responsibilities- Assessing and managing risk in complex situations, adhering to Social Work England's code of practice.
- Providing professional supervision and contributing to team development.
- Managing cases involving Child Protection, Child in Need, Care Proceedings, and the Public Law Outline.
We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience in handling complex cases, including previous support for children and families when children have been taken into care. The ideal candidate will also have experience providing guidance and supervision to less experienced colleagues.
