Job Summary:

Deputy Manager- Children's Residential role at Horizon Care and Education is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in the West Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our children's residential services, working closely with the Residential Manager to uphold our values and standards.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with the Residential Manager to ensure the home aligns with our values and standards in their absence.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the team, aiding in their professional development and individual growth.
  • Oversee colleague management, including appraisals, supervision, and training adherence.
  • Manage health and safety protocols, risk assessments, and ensure all necessary training is completed.
  • Financial Management of the home.
  • Environment Management.
  • Quality Assurance.
  • Upholding professional Care Practices.


Requirements:


  • Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce qualification.
  • At least 1 year's experience of Senior Support Work in a Children's Residential setting.
