Job Description

Job Title: Performing Arts Lecturer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Performing Arts lecturer to join our team at NCG. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, specializing in Acting, Acting for TV and Film, and Estill Voice International.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a range of Performing Arts modules across levels 1-3, with potential for level 4 and 5
  • Develop and deliver curriculum content that meets the needs of our students and industry partners
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the development of our Performing Arts program, including curriculum design and review
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment

Requirements:

  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Professional industry experience in Acting, Acting for TV and Film, and Estill Voice International
  • Relevant degree in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certified Level 1 and Level 2 Estill Voice International training
  • Experience in teaching classical and contemporary acting techniques
  • Knowledge of industry-standard audition and screen test practices
