About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Administrative Support Officer to join our Community Team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. As an Administrative Support Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the team to deliver high-quality care to patients in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake administrative duties, including data inputting, filing, and scanning, in line with Trust Policies and Procedures.
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post, stock ordering, and deliveries.
  • Provide administrative support as required, including typing, data inputting, and filing.
  • Liaise and interact with service users and colleagues as and when required.
  • Facilitate the smooth running of clinics and appointments, ensuring that clinical and non-clinical records are obtained and retrieved as required.

Requirements

  • Education to academic Level 2 (GCSE Grade A-C, NVQ2, OCR/RSA2, City and Guilds 2) in a Business Administration-related subject or considerable recent NHS administrative experience.
  • Willingness to commit to continuing professional development.
  • Professional manner, as a representative of the Trust.
  • Tact and discretion for dealing with confidential information.
  • Ability to meet the travel requirements of the role.
