About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and secretarial support to a team of community-based Podiatrists. The successful candidate will work as part of a local administration team, with support from this network as well as having the opportunity to form close links with the wider staff across the other countywide Podiatry teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake administrative duties specific to the role, including typing, data inputting, filing, scanning, referral processing, adding appointments to clinicians' diaries, and arranging home visits.
  • Add new patient spells and referrals to the system in a timely manner.
  • Answer and deal with telephone enquiries in a professional manner, seeking guidance as required, recording details accurately, and forwarding to the relevant member of the team in a timely manner.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Order and maintain stock supplies.
  • Prepare for and attend appraisal meetings and participate in any relevant training programmes required by the Trust.
