**The Role**:
We are seeking dynamic and inspirational leaders to oversee the development and implementation of curriculum strategies across two of our Curriculum Academies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of passionate educators, driving innovation and excellence in teaching and learning and delivering an outstanding student experience.

As Head of Department, you will lead with inspiration, vision and direction working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the curriculum and service offer is aligned to local needs.

Your role will include:

- Curriculum Leadership

- Departmental Oversight
- Safeguarding and Prevent

**Requirements**:

- A passion for education and a deep understanding of curriculum development principles.
- Proven leadership experience in an educational setting, with a track record of driving positive change and achieving exceptional results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a focus on creating an inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive innovation.

Kidderminster College has been around for over 140 years and we specialise in vocational courses. This means when our students leave us, they’re ready to launch into their dream career

Being a smaller college, with around 200 staff and 2,000 students, we’re able to concentrate on supporting our learners and helping them find their place in the world. Our main campus is based in the centre of Kidderminster Town, which means that we’re at the heart of everything here. Our second campus, the Vocational Skills Centre, is a short walk away and houses our Motor Vehicle and Vehicle Respray garages and our builders’ yard.

Our state-of-the-art facilities provide the perfect environment to help truly push our students and assist them with carving out their perfect career. With our recording studios, Apple suite, fully-equipped theatre, professional workshops, high-class salon, kitted out classrooms, expert acting and dance studios and our partnership with The West Midlands Safari Park, we aim to provide the best learning experience possible for our cohort.
