About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide support to our Podiatry team based out of Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, and Tenbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to a team of community-based Podiatrists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake administrative duties specific to the role, including data inputting, filing, scanning, referral processing, and adding appointments to clinicians' diaries.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, and order and maintain stock supplies.
  • Answer and deal with telephone enquiries in a professional manner, seeking guidance as required, and recording details accurately.
  • Prepare for and attend appraisal meetings and participate in any relevant training programmes required by the Trust.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have recent, relevant experience in an Administrative/Secretarial/Reception role and possess good organisational skills, ability to adapt to changing needs, and a professional manner as a representative of the Trust and Service.

They will also have a good level of literacy and numeracy, ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English in both verbal and written formats, and standard IT skills.

The successful candidate will be educated to vocational level 2 in Business Administration or have good general education with a minimum of 2 GCSEs at grade 9-4 (*A-C) with good IT skills.
