About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team as an Administration Assistant. As part of the Glades Neighbourhood Team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Community Nurses, Senior Nurse Practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to provide outstanding care to patients in the Wyre Forest area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake administrative duties specific to the role, including dealing with telephone and email enquiries, managing incoming and outgoing post, and providing administrative support as required.
  • Support the smooth running of clinics and appointments, ensuring that clinical and non-clinical records are obtained and retrieved as needed.
  • Liaise and interact with service users and colleagues, maintaining a professional manner and handling confidential information with tact and discretion.

Requirements

  • Education to academic Level 2 (GCSE Grade A-C, NVQ2, OCR/RSA2, City and Guilds 2) in a Business Administration-related subject, or considerable recent NHS administrative experience with a commitment to undertaking the relevant level 2 qualification on appointment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with good IT skills and a positive attitude.
  • Experience in an administrative or secretarial role, with a willingness to commit to continuing professional development and a professional manner.
