Job Title: Deputy Finance Manager

Bouygues UK is seeking an experienced Deputy Finance Manager to lead the Financial Reporting team in our Financial Accounting Shared Service Centre, based in Haywards Heath.

Job Purpose and Scope:

To work as part of the Financial Accounting Shared Service Centre (FA SSC), leading the Financial Reporting team to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of all relevant reporting for assigned Companies, Joint Ventures, and Branches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day accounting and finance responsibilities of the Reporting Team
  • Provide accurate, compliant, and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to Group
  • Plan and prepare information required for quarterly and annual audits and manage the audit process with statutory auditors to ensure timely completion
  • Prepare high-quality Financial Statements
  • Plan and prepare information required for annual corporation tax returns for review by Tax Manager
  • Ensure all other relevant Reporting Team tasks are completed in line with required deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures and contribute to any required developments
  • Assist senior management and Group reporting function with ad-hoc matters as needed
  • Challenging ways of working, drive simplification, efficiency, and foster a pioneering mindset
  • Leading, supporting, and developing accounting staff
  • Working effectively with the wider business to ensure FA SSC team continues to drive towards excellence and team environment supports Group's values and is inclusive and dynamic
