About the Opportunity

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Parliamentary Engagement Specialist to join our Participation team at UK Parliament. As a key member of our programme development team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering engaging programmes of activity for our priority audiences.

This role requires strong communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to develop compelling narratives and key messages. We offer an attractive salary of £41,000 - £61,230 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, we provide a range of benefits including 30 days' annual leave, flexible working, and access to training and development opportunities.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Support the coordination of Participation programmes and activities, ensuring they are delivered on-time and in line with agreed objectives.
  • Develop compelling narratives and key messages for new events and activities, that will engage and resonate with priority audiences.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and compile into scoping reports to inform decision-making regarding the development of new strategic programmes and activities.
