Your Role

Hanson Search is seeking an experienced Government Relations and Partnerships Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the External Affairs Team, you will play a crucial role in building relationships with government departments responsible for key agendas.

You will attend conferences and travel to constituency meetings with MPs to promote our company's interests. You will also undertake research tasks and project work to support the team and company strategy.

A strong understanding of the political climate, current affairs, and sharp analytical skills are essential for success in this role. If you have a proven track record in government relations, policy, or public affairs, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with government departments and stakeholders
  • Attend conferences and events to promote our company's interests
  • Undertake research tasks and project work to support the team and company strategy
  • Ensure continuous reviews and updates of contact management systems

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in government relations, policy, or public affairs
  • Proven track record of engaging through policy processes
  • Outstanding writing and communication skills
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and attention to detail

What We Offer:

Hanson Search offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
