Location: Hybrid working, up to 2 days per week working from home

The Vacancy

The General Council of the Bar represents nearly 17,000 barristers in England and Wales. It promotes high-quality specialist advocacy and advisory services; fair access to justice for all; the highest standards of ethics, equality, and diversity across the profession; and business opportunities for barristers at home and abroad.

We are looking for a skilled candidate with experience in government, parliamentary, public affairs, campaigns, or related environments. The ideal candidate will have an avid interest in politics, law, and Parliament.

This role involves delivering high-quality Parliamentary monitoring and political intelligence, providing research and drafting written materials, organising events, and collaborating with colleagues from across the organisation in developing public affairs outputs and activities.
