Job Summary:

The Public Affairs Officer will play a key role in developing relationships with Parliamentarians, civil servants, and stakeholders to improve end-of-life care for everyone across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the National Public Affairs Manager and Local Public Affairs Manager to develop relationships with Parliamentarians, civil servants, and stakeholders.
  • Support the delivery of internal public affairs projects, initiatives, and campaigns to improve end-of-life care.
  • Respond to external public affairs opportunities to influence political decision-makers.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience working in the public affairs environment, ideally within Parliament.
  • A passion and understanding of the challenging inequalities in care and end-of-life experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and engage.
  • Excellent organisational skills for managing workload and event planning.
