We are seeking a qualified Senior Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Barrow-in-Furness. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a significant engineering project with BAE Systems.
About the Role:- This role involves delivering assigned activities in line with company policy, procedures, and legislation.
- You will be responsible for testing and commissioning activities of onboard mechanical systems.
- Representing the company on Factory Acceptance Tests, offsite test facilities, Contractors Sea Trials, and other outworking requirements will be a key part of this role.
- HNC in Mechanical Engineering is desirable.
- An understanding of Mechanical Flushing and Pressure & Endurance Testing and setting to work of systems is necessary.
- Knowledge of mechanical system operation, ideally hydraulic, pressurized air and gas, domestic and chilled water, and tank testing is essential.
- A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
