The role of Healthcare Operations Manager at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust presents an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their families. As part of our team, you will contribute to the efficient discharge of women and babies from the hospital, ensuring a seamless transition from care to home.

We are seeking an experienced professional with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work collaboratively with healthcare staff. Your task will be to assess and plan for patient discharge, taking into account individual needs and circumstances. This is a permanent position with a 30 hour per week contract, offering a salary of £26,530 - £29,114 per annum pro rata.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing effective discharge planning and support to patients and their families.
  • Working closely with healthcare staff to ensure smooth transitions between care settings.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports to inform discharge decisions.
