Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hospital Porter Logistics Coordinator to join our team at JT Recruit Ltd.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare logistics, with a proven track record of coordinating complex patient care services and managing large teams.

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong leadership and organisational skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the coordination of patient care services, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Develop and implement effective logistics processes to improve service delivery and quality, resulting in improved patient satisfaction and experience.
  • Manage staff training and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the Portering team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, conduct, and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Monitor and control labour costs, reducing the need for agency labour and improving overall efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, healthcare management) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering results-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience.
