Healthcare Operations Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Operations Assistant to join our team at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the provision of a professional, comprehensive, and efficient administrative service to the Clinical Biochemistry department.
Main Purpose of the Post:
- Assist with the provision of a professional, comprehensive, and efficient administrative service to the Clinical Biochemistry department
- Provide a high quality, comprehensive, and professional secretarial service to support laboratory staff
- Manage the administration service for the Clinical Biochemistry department
- liaise with hospital clinicians, GPs, and external agencies
Responsibilities:
- Be fully conversant with relevant departmental policies and Standard Operating Procedures
- Understand the principles of Specimen Reception, sample data entry, sample preparation, and workflow of referral samples
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Forms, and other software to prepare departmental documents
- Deal with visitors to the laboratory and members of the public in a receptionist function
Salary: £26,530 - £29,114 per annum pro rata
Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full-time
