Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant at SEMG, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our patients, working closely with our primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical terminology, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to excellence. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs a variety of patient care activities to assist physicians and nursing personnel
  • Delivers quality customer service and maintains established quality control standards
  • Checks out patients, assists with referral processing, and arranges laboratory services
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; successful completion of an accredited medical assistant certification program (with certification) at time of hire, or within 90 days of employment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Maintains MA and CPR certifications (and actions required for recertifications)
