Senior Palliative Care Nurse

We are seeking an exceptional and flexible Senior Staff Nurse to join our In-Patient Unit team, providing high-quality end of life care to our patients.
Main Responsibilities- Lead a team of nurses, utilizing excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to care.
- Provide holistic assessment skills, liaising closely with the multidisciplinary team.
- Fulfill revalidation criteria in accordance with NMC recommendations.
- Relevant Palliative Care post-registration experience or other relevant experience as a Senior Staff Nurse.
- Experience of leading a team of nurses and mentorship for junior staff.
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Registered Nurse with the NMC, Palliative care qualification, and ongoing professional development in specialist palliative care.
- Understanding of Hospice philosophy and the structure and nature of specialist palliative care services.
- Awareness of the concept of clinical supervision and reflective practice.
- Flexibility of shifts and awareness of, and commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of the Hospice.
