Senior Staff Nurse

About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Staff Nurse to join our In-Patient Unit team at Princess Alice Hospice. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality end of life care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake assessments of patient needs and discuss with other team members as required.
- Liaise with the senior nursing team and multi-disciplinary team to provide specialist palliative care nursing skills.
- Implement care based on initial and ongoing assessments, communicating changes to relevant team members.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude to palliative care patients, ensuring their physiological, psychosocial, spiritual, and cultural needs are met.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with the NMC.
- Palliative care qualification (such as ECEPC).
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in specialist palliative care.
- Assessors training.
- Evidence of post-registration courses undertaken.
- Diploma or Degree level study.
