Job Title: Wine Shipping Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wine Shipping Project Manager to join our team at Crozier Fine Arts. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the international shipping of fine wine and other high-end alcohol.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organise all wine shipping activities both domestically and internationally, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, third-party shippers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor shipping activities, including customs declarations, invoices, and permits.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure efficient and effective shipping operations.
  • Coordinate and manage all customs matters related to wine shipping, ensuring compliance with regulations and minimising delays.
  • Ensure the seamless flow of activity during busy periods, including resource planning, organisation of stock, and communication with shippers and clients.
  • Work closely with the wider Crozier business to ensure compliance with under bond stock, HMRC reporting, and resource requirements.
  • Maintain all aspects of Safety & Security at all times.

Requirements:

  • Shipping experience is essential, with a strong understanding of international shipping regulations.
  • Experience working in fine wine logistics is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated and able to use your own initiative, with a high degree of organisation and attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills, including G Suite, eCustoms, and EMCS.
  • Experience of working in an excise-approved warehouse environment and using inventory management systems.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, including fluent spoken and written English.
  • Strong ability and experience of people management.
  • Desire to learn and take on new challenges.
