Wine Shipping Project Manager

Crozier Fine Arts is seeking a highly skilled Wine Shipping Project Manager to join our team in West Drayton, West London. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the international shipping of fine wine and other high-end alcohol.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and organise all wine shipping activities both domestically and internationally, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations.
  • Build relationships with clients, third-party shippers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and chain of custody.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor shipping activities, developing SOPs and KPIs to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate customs matters related to wine shipping, ensuring compliance with regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Manage resources and stock, communicating with shippers and clients to ensure a seamless end-to-end service.
  • Work closely with the wider Crozier business to ensure compliance with under bond stock, HMRC reporting, and resource requirements.
  • Maintain safety and security protocols at all times, ensuring a secure and efficient shipping process.
Requirements:
  • Shipping experience is essential, with a strong understanding of international shipping regulations.
  • Experience working in fine wine logistics is advantageous, with a deep understanding of the industry.
  • Self-motivated and able to use your own initiative, with a high degree of organisation and attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills, including G Suite, eCustoms, and EMCS.
  • Experience of working in an excise-approved warehouse environment and using inventory management systems.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, with fluent spoken and written English.
  • Strong ability and experience of people management, with a desire to learn and take on new challenges.
