As a Cloud Technical Strategist - Data Cloud at Salesforce, you'll have the exciting opportunity to shape the future of cloud technology and help our customers unlock its full potential.

About the Role

We're looking for a talented technical expert who can analyze complex business challenges and develop innovative solutions that meet our customers' unique needs. You'll work closely with our sales, product, and engineering teams to deliver high-value solutions that drive business growth and customer success.

Your key responsibilities will include analyzing complex business problems, developing innovative solutions, driving innovation and customer adoption, connecting the art of the possible, and providing technical domain expertise.

You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our product roadmap, providing valuable feedback and insights that inform our strategic decisions. To succeed in this position, you'll need to possess a deep understanding of cloud technologies, including data warehouses, lakes, and analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solve Business Problems - Analyze complex business problems and develop innovative solutions that meet our customers' needs.
  • Drive Innovation & Customer Adoption - Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to develop compelling value propositions and drive adoption of our data cloud solutions.
  • Connect the 'Art of the Possible' - Work with our solutions engineers to deliver software demonstrations, rapid prototyping, and storytelling to showcase the potential of our data cloud solutions.
  • Cross-Platform Collaboration - Develop solutions that integrate seamlessly across multiple technology landscapes, including CRM, modern data stack, analytics, and AI.
  • Provide Technical Domain Expertise - Share your expertise in data governance, security, and other technical capabilities to support our customers' successful implementation of our data cloud solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in solutions engineering/solutions architecture/technical consulting, ideally in the B2B SaaS space, particularly cloud data platforms.
  • Strong verbal and presentation abilities, capable of effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding and ability to articulate the relationship between data and customer relationship management (CRM).
  • Demonstrable ability to shift clients to alternative solutions when initial solutions are not a fit, with examples to support this.
  • Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, cloud technology, business intelligence, and CRM products.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Implementation or sales experience in Salesforce Data Cloud.
