SEN Support Specialist

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Support Specialist to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a specialist in supporting children with complex needs, you will work closely with pupils aged 11-19 in a specialist SEN school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classes, work one-to-one with students, and deliver sensory curriculum-based learning activities
  • Work as part of a team to support the class teacher and help students with their needs

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with disabilities or SEN
  • Comfortable with personal care, including changing and hoists
  • Excellent communication skills to hold student attention and focus
