We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and be able to adapt to individual learning requirements.

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and a supportive working environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with teachers to develop and implement individualised plans for students with SEN.
  • Providing tailored support to students with complex needs, including personal care and mobility assistance.
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure seamless support for students with SEN.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience working with students with SEN in an educational setting.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures, as well as common SEN needs like Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD.

Location and Salary

This role is based in Stoke-on-Trent, within a well-established school. The school provides a welcoming and collaborative working environment, and we offer a competitive salary of £85-£110 per day.
