Carer Support Specialist

Bristol SU Group invites applications from caring individuals to fill the role of Carer Support Specialist.
The estimated salary for this position is £21,000 - £24,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
About the Role:
- You will provide emotional support and guidance to young carers, helping them navigate their caregiving responsibilities.
- Work closely with session leads to deliver engaging activities, promoting the well-being and happiness of young carers.
- Help set up and tidy up at groups, ensuring a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
- Collaborate with staff to supervise young carers and maintain a secure setting, adhering to our policies and procedures.
- Attend occasional events, fostering relationships and promoting our services.
- Be flexible and willing to travel to join groups and trips, demonstrating adaptability.
