A Personal Assistant/Carer Role with UKCIL Ltd

We are seeking a reliable and honest carer to join our team and provide personalized support to a young man living with his family at home.

Your role will involve assisting him with daily tasks, such as getting dressed, having breakfast, and starting laundry, as well as planning and participating in fun activities in the community, like walking, cycling, bowling, cinema trips, or picnics.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors, enjoy doing something different every day, and be willing to sort lunch and continue with their plans after morning duties. Evening meals are enjoyed as a family, followed by a bath and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement activity plans that cater to the individual's interests and needs
  2. Manage medications and maintain accurate records
  3. Contribute to a collaborative care team, providing support and assistance as needed

We offer a salary of £22-28 per hour, based on a 16-25 hour week with set shifts (8am-2pm or 2pm-8pm) and opportunities for overtime during holidays or absences. We value reliability, honesty, and a love for dogs. Apply now if this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you
