At the Carers Support Centre, we are seeking a skilled Carers Support Liaison Officer to join our Adult Carer Support team.

The role involves providing comprehensive support to unpaid carers who care for family or friends with health issues, disabilities, or mental health problems.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Offering emotional support and guidance to carers
  • Servicing carers to relevant services and resources
  • Facilitating carers access to support and services
  • Promoting carers rights and entitlements
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective support

Key skills required for this position include:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Empathy and understanding of carers needs and challenges
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and boundaries
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

Our ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to provide tailored support to carers, ensuring their unique needs are met. In return, you can expect a competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
