Role Overview

This volunteer role is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young carers in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. As a support worker, you will play a vital part in helping these young people develop valuable skills, build confidence, and create lasting memories.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy individual to assist our session leads at groups, workshops, trips, and activities. The ideal candidate will be friendly, committed, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist session leads in facilitating group activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of young carers at all times.
  • Support young carers in a group setting, providing emotional support and encouragement when needed.
  • Work closely with staff members to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Attend occasional day events and holiday activities if possible.
  • Be willing to travel to join groups and trips.
