About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team at Brynawel, a residential support service for individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality person-centred support and care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Support residents in achieving their outcomes and goals, promoting independence and autonomy.
  • Complete daily administration tasks, including updating support plans, medication administration, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with residents, their families, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a safe and secure environment, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Undertake keyworking responsibilities, supporting residents in planning and achieving their personal outcomes.

Requirements

  • DBS clearance at an appropriate level.
  • Ability to work a mix of day and night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Flexibility to participate in training and development opportunities.
