Classroom Specialist for SEMH Students

We are recruiting for a skilled and compassionate teacher to teach Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and additional associated Learning Difficulties.
The successful candidate will have experience teaching at KS1 and/or KS2, possess excellent behaviour management skills, and a calm, patient manner.
Job Description:
- Teach a class of diverse needs, tailoring the curriculum to meet individual EHCPs.
- Evaluate student progress using monitoring and assessment strategies.
- Foster positive relationships with students to improve long-term outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience teaching at KS1 and/or KS2.
- Ability to design engaging lessons that cater to students' needs.
- Background in supporting students with SEMH and Learning Difficulties.
- Effective behaviour management and communication skills.
Remuneration and Benefits:
- £28,000 - £41,000 per annum, paid to scale (M1-UPS3).
